FREE UK mainland parcel delivery over £100! with 1 hour Time Slot

Free delivery includes all standard courier (parcel) deliveries to UK mainland. Additional charges may apply to Highlands and islands, we will contact you if applicable. Excludes some heavy, bulky or especially fragile products.
Standard delivery is to the ground floor front door of your building and does not include any assembly or unpacking. We sometimes send some larger items on a pallet.

*We use a 'Carbon Neutral' accredited courier service for our deliveries. Most of our packaging materials are recycled.

A delivery charge will apply to 'Large item' deliveries of large or awkward furniture products (such as sofas, dining tables, large easy chairs, marble tops etc). Usually this will be £65 in London (inside M25) and £120 outside London in England. Other destinations and remote areas will be quoted individually.

Brexit and Customs regulations

We are a British business and entirely based in the UK so there is no need to worry about added charges when you purchase (following Brexit) if you are a UK customer.

We import into the UK from our European brands and cover any duty and tax when goods enter the country. Your order is delivered to you from our London warehouses (never direct from our suppliers).

The price you see is therefore the price you pay. All our prices include VAT for the UK.

If you purchase for delivery anywhere outside the UK then local import duty and tariffs may apply for which you would be responsible upon delivery.

Storage

When your order comes into stock we offer complimentary storage for up to a maximum of 10 days free of charge, to allow you to choose the most convenient delivery day to suit you. If we have offered delivery to you but you are not ready to receive the order within this time we can store your order for longer. A charge will apply on a daily rate after 10 days (see Terms). 

Lead times

Lead times are variable.

Product lead times are shown on our website as a guide to what is typical. Global supply issues due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Brexit and now the war in Ukraine have impact on our manufacturers, their subcontractors and on freight shipping worldwide. Shortages of raw materials, pressures on freight networks, new customs regulations following Brexit together with exceptionally high demand are all adding to delivery times in an unpredictable way.

When placing an order please be understanding that lead times are not fixed. They are provided as a guide only and the time your order actually takes can vary significantly depending on many factors.

We will always deliver your order as quickly as possible however you should expect lead times to vary more than usual from the estimates shown at present.

We do not provide compensation for delays. Prices may go up or down while your order is being processed but the price you pay is fixed at the point of order. 

When delays from suppliers do occur we cannot always know in advance but we will advise of any significant changes as soon as we become aware of them. 

If there is a lead time applicable to your order (especially larger items) we will normally contact you as soon as your order comes into stock to check you are available and ready to receive delivery. We will hold furniture items for up to 10 days after we advise you they are ready after which we may charge for storage.

Some products we offer are made to order, such items cannot usually be returned or cancelled. Full details of our Terms of sale are available to view on our website under 'TERMS'.

Delivery Time Slots and Premium Delivery

Courier deliveries will receive an email from us the day before delivery and courier deliveries will be emailed an allocated 1 hour delivery time-slot on the morning of the delivery day. You can change to an alternative delivery day, or choose delivery to a neighbour if necessary. If we have your mobile number you will also receive a text alert. Great as you don't have to wait in all day for goods to arrive. Large items including furniture may be sent using alternative services.

Standard Delivery days are Monday to Friday. 

When a product has been on order for some time we will contact you when it comes into stock to check that you are ready to receive it.

It is your responsibility to check access is possible for goods being delivered. Delivery of larger furniture to more distant and remote areas of the UK will require a shipping quotation. If you are unsure please check with us. If a surcharge applies we will advise you.

Reserve and Collect

You may find it more convenient to arrange to collect from our East London shop. Parking is free after 12 weekdays and at weekends, and we are outside the Congestion Charge zone. If you selected to 'Reserve and Collect' we will advise you when the item is available, and arrange a day for collection with you (we do not hold all our stock at our shop and collection must be pre arranged). Please collect on the day agreed. Collection should be made soon after we inform you that your goods are ready. Please check your order is ready and our opening times before you come.

Large Item Delivery

This service is required for larger furniture such as sofas, large easy chairs, dining tables, especially heavy items such as marble and other large, awkward or fragile items. Usually includes a delivery appointment day. In London this will typically be to the ground floor and does not include assembly. Other destinations delivery will be as close to the building entrance as possible and assistance to unload may be required. Palletised delivery will be kerbside. If you order 'white glove delivery' with installation this does not include fitting to a wall, assembly of complex items or electrical installations. Please contact us for a quotation if the price is not shown at checkout for your address.

International orders

We ship to Europe, and Worldwide. Simply select the appropriate region at checkout to view the estimated rate. If your area is not showing a shipping rate or to confirm the rate please contact us. We can provide a quotation for the cost.

We only offer Standard delivery abroad. There is no duty payable for goods delivered within the European Union (EU). Countries outside the European Union may levy import duty. Goods are shipped “Duty Unpaid”.

For your convenience the website shows prices in GB Pounds, Euros and US Dollars converted at the current daily exchange rate. The converted amount is to give approximate local rates as a guide only, you actually pay in GB Pounds at the checkout. Overseas Rates are shown at checkout, or email us for an individual quotation.

Special Access and Installation

We work with delivery and access specialists, so if the only way in is up the outside of the building, or doors or windows need removing to facilitate access we can even help with that, just contact us with the details and we will be pleased to provide a quotation.
