Designed by Jacob Plejdrup. Dk3 is known for its large plank tables, so it was quite obvious for designer and Dk3 founder Jacob Plejdrup to carry on this design inheritance, when he drew the new Grand Sideboard in 2016. The sideboard really lives up to its name both in terms of dimensions and design.

With lengths up to 240 cm the sideboard can contain more than an average sideboard. However, despite the impressive dimensions, the sideboard still appears very simple and light in proportions.

Details

The Grand Sideboard is available in Oak, Wild oak, smoked oak or walnut, and is one of the few sideboards on the market in solid wild oak and walnut. The sliding doors and the bottom of the drawers are made of Nano laminate in four colours and have a very resistant and almost maintenance-free surface. 

Wild oak is defined as planks with more structure, filled knots and small cracks. These knots and small cracks are filled with black putty while smaller cracks and shakes will be filled with natural coloured putty.
